BRUCE BLOCK
|
BRUCE BLOCK'S unusual talents have prompted “20/20’s” Barbara Walters to ask, “Why would anyone want to do that?” His extensive studies of comedy, juggling, magic and vaudeville contribute to his truly original show. He has appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, “The Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon” and on “Comedy Central”. Bruce is a popular act at colleges and comedy clubs and is a regular performer on Holland America Cruise Line. He engagements in “The World’s Greatest Magic Show" at the Sahara Hotel and Casino eared him a “Best of Las Vegas Award” from the Las Vegas Review Journal. While working with Joan Rivers she remarked, “Does your mother know you do these things?”

ERIC BUSS'S high-energy, and hilarious act has been called, “Pure Art, Pure Madness!” It combines pogo sticks, wigs, frozen turkeys, dancing licorice, impaled rabbits, and 375 spring snakes into a non-stop ride of mischief and magical gadgetry that most people could never imagine. Eric not only imagined it, he turned it into an award-winning act that he has performed around the world and on “The Late Show” with David Letterman. In fact, Letterman called his performance “Tremendous, sensational, beautiful and a real crowd pleaser." Eric’s hard work began to pay off at the age of 20, when he won the coveted “Stage Champion of the Year” award at the world convention of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Since then, Eric has performed on five continents and on TV in six countries. He has also appeared on the “Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon” and has shared the stage with William Shatner at the world renowned “Just for Laughs” Comedy Festival in Montreal. He made a command performance for the Royal Family of Monaco at their annual International Magic Gala in Monte Carlo. Eric is also a graduate of The Second City, considered the “Ivy League of Comedy Schools.”

AMOS LEVKOVITCH grew up in Israel and discovered magic at the age of 10 when a friend made 3 apricot seeds disappear and then reappear. He was hooked. After finding some success as a magician in Israel, he was able to leave his homeland to further explore the world of magic. To get ready for his first Magic Castle show, Amos practiced with his doves six hours a day, every day, (and some nights). He trained them to come back to his hands and to fly to the cage. Over the next several years Amos performed about 500 shows a year at school shows, private parties, places like Magic Island, Comedy and Magic Club, the Body Shop on Sunset strip, casinos, hotels, Wizardz and similar places around the world. And, of course, he continued to play the Castle. In 1989 Amos Levkovitch, the Israeli performer who failed his first audition for the Castle, was nominated for the Magic Stage Magician of the Year. In 1990, he was named the Magic Castle Stage Magician of the Year, and again in 1991.
