LA MIRADA THEATRE PRESENTS "A DAY IN HIS LIFE: THE JOHN LENNON ANTHOLOGY CONCERT"

 

LA MIRADA, Calif., February 17, 2005 -- La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts presents "A Day in His Life: The John Lennon Anthology Concert," 8 p.m., March 24 as part of the theatre's "March Madness" series of six special events complementing the theatre's Broadway season.

 

"A Day in His Life: The John Lennon Anthology Concert," presents the music in the style and sound of the original Lennon recordings, performed by Tim Piper. He revives the personality, appearance, mannerisms, and humor of the late John Lennon in a two-hour musical collage of sights and sounds. Piper was E! Channel's choice to portray Lennon in their production of the "John Lennon Story," picked by CBS to appear as Lennon in their TV Movie of the Week, "The Linda McCartney Story" and cast as the singing voice of Lennon for the NBC TV Movie of the Week, "In His Life - The John Lennon Story."

 

Ticket prices for "A Day in His Life: The John Lennon Anthology Concert" are $30, $40 and $50. Discounts are available for multiple event purchases.
