Synopsis

Set during World War II in Neil Simon's New York City, Lost in Yonkers tells the story of two young brothers, Arty and Jay, who are sent to live with their frightfully intimidating Grandma and sweet but mentally slow Aunt Bella. An unsentimental examinatio of lives in an oppressive household, Lost in Yonkers masterfully blends comedy and tragedy in what many critics consider to be Simon's best play.
